Store FAQ

Here’s a bit of a FAQ about the store and how it works.

Where is it?

Each store item is just a normal blog post which has been put into the newly created store category.  So to quickly see everything which is in the store just click on the store category link to right of the webpage.

Payment

At the moment I am using Paypal as the payment gateway. There are lots of pro’s and con’s and I know a few of you don’t use Paypal, but it’s most effective solution for me to use at this moment in time. I am looking at others but it’s all time and money to research and implement so I have to do my homework first. The bottom line is that Paypal is far more secure than anything I can cobble together at the moment and your personal information privacy and security is paramount.

If you don’t have an actual Paypal account, fear not, you can still purchase stuff. Just click on ‘Checkout with Paypal’ button in the shopping cart and then to the left of the login form you will see a link to ‘Continue’. Just click on that, enter your details there and then the payment will be securely processed.

Product Downloads

You will receive the download links via email using the address you give at the time of Checkout. Most of the time it should be pretty instantaneous, but please give it at least 24 hours before you start to panic. Don’t forget to check any spam or junk folders you may have in case it goes in there. If you still haven’t received anything drop me an email.

You get 5 attempts to download the file, then the links will expire. If you have a problem for any reason get in touch. If 6 months down the line you need another link simply email me with either the transaction ID or the email account you purchased it with and I will get a new set of links emailed out to you. I will endeavour to do this within 24 hours but please give me a couple of days (especially if it’s the weekend) before you send me abuse!

Products are compatible with both Poser and DS (unless stated otherwise) and are both packed in the download file.  I am trying to cater for everyone by offering two types of product – Multi-Part zips and Single zip versions.  If you are on a slow internet connection, you will be better off with the Multi-Part zip version.  If you are on a decent connection, or just don’t mind a wait, go for the Single zip version.

If you are having trouble unzipping the files, I recommend either Winzip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) – both are free, and if you have any problems with them make sure you are using the latest versions.

You can contact me either by the Contact page on here or directly at jack@jacktomalin.com. I will send a response within 24 hours, even if it’s to just say that I have received it and am working on it.

Please bear in mind it’s just me here, so I might not be able to deal with the problem at that particular moment in time – but I will at least acknowledge that I have received and read the email.
